Nope, not a new car, but a new bike. I can’t even remember the last time I had a new bike…maybe age 12. It’s pretty darn exciting!
Moving to Carolina Beach, I knew I wanted a cruiser with a basket and white walled tires. I found this pretty little Schwinn at Wal-Mart. Pretty cheap too. Anyhow, I’m in love with this thing. It’s so comfortable…I sit up straight as opposed to being hunched over like I used to be with my mountain bike.
The basket is a must for any cruiser. Not just for looks but I use mine a couple times a week!
If only I could bike to work…
(Yes, we have pink carpet in our condo and yes, just by coincidence.)

Now all it needs is a rod rack

agreed. Trust me I’ve gone through the list of ridiculous accessories I could add to that bike!
So when are you going to get a blog? I really think you’d do well with it…and you’d have a following from the Yahoo! forum!

The bike is sweet but it does’nt have a fishin pole holder or bait bucket holder or a trailer hitch for Justins’ crap. Ha Ha only kidding it does’nt have a trailer hitch for Justins’ gear. And what if you catch something there is no cooler to keep your catch fresh until you get home and for that matter it doesnt have a grill on it so you could cook your fish right away until you get another bite. When you come back to Pgh. bring it with you and we’ll take it up to uncle Franks and we will weld so many bracket on it it will be the bomb!!! Uncle Joe was fishing the outflow at the YOCH and after catching about 10 or so trout he decided it was time for one more cast and he banged a 24′ brown and of course there was nobody there to see it. After taking the kids to the lake to swim he found a little more time to fish and as he put it, it was time for one more cast before playing with the kids he discovered a beautiful backlash in his reel. Not wanting to waste his line he could not untangle the mess he breaks off the line and proceeds towind the line around his fingers and low and behold about 15 yds from shore a 20 something large( or small) mouth bass grabs the lure and the fight is on after 15 min and 4 purple fingers the fish give up and just as he brings it on to the shore the fish spits out the lure but Uncle Joe makes a quick grab and lands the trouphy(?). He does have a picture of it. By for now Love Uncle Bob ans Aunt Sandy
