Have you ever dreamed of living at the beach? I’m sure…most everyone (except my Mother…love you Mom!) loves the beach.

I never really thought about living at the beach because I honestly never thought it would happen. But Justin and I moved down to Wilmington, NC and that was a dream just in it’s self. People talk about moving to the beach all the time…but they never do it. And it was pretty cool for me because I vacationed to the area almost every summer as a kid.

Our lease is up at the end of the month, and for the past two months we’ve been scouring craigslist to see what we could afford to rent. Amazingly you can rent really cool places for reasonably cheap.

We finally found a place that fits us just right…an oceanfront condo in Carolina Beach, NC.

Yes, o-c-e-a-n  f-r-o-n-t. Our two sets of sliding glass doors look out to the Atlantic Ocean. Above is a picture of the view from our deck, and a rainbow over the ocean.

It’s incredibly exciting because ya, it’s the beach but Carolina Beach is a small walking community. We can walk or ride our bikes to stores, restaurants, bars and a million other places.
