Broad and Reel

I work with search engines, blogs , PPC ads and most anything with the internet for a living. So I’d like to think that I was pretty internet savvy. But surprisingly, that’s not my preference. Yes, I waste my life away on facebook and myspace, but I get really excited when I get a new book from the library or the newest copy of the Island Gazette.

There is one exception, and that is This is Fly. I’m not sure where I first heard of this online fly fishing magazine, but it doesn’t even matter because it’s amazing. The technology, the layout, the photographs and the music, yes it has music.

Before you notice the writing, layout or freakin’ sweet photos, you’ll crack a smile when you realize how you page through the magazine. To flip forward or backward in the magazine, you put your cursor on the bottom corner then click, hold and move your cursor to the left or right (depending if you want to go forward or backward).

I’ve yet to see anything like this. I’m sure there is something similar but it’s impressing to see something like this in the fishing world.
